Cabarete is a small village on the northern coast (Amber coast ) of the Dominican
Republic, about 40 km from Puerto Plata. Cabarete has become a tourist destination
particularly with kitesurfing and windsurfing, Cabarete is also distinguished
by the youth of its visitors and its nightlife. Cabarete is a sports town and
festive.
Cabarete is world famous for its exceptional conditions for kite. Cabarete each
year welcomes a step in the Kitesurf World Cup. There are many schools for these
sports throughout the year.
