Boca de Yuma is a city in the province of La Altagracia, bordering the Caribbean
Sea, at the east of Higuey.
Yuma residents say is a voice from the Taino language, characteristic of the
peoples of the Caribbean islands and the name is due to the proximity of the
mouth of the river of the same name.
Boca de Yuma is a paradise of peace and quiet, the main activity is fishing,
on the Malecon there are many small restaurants that offer fish and lobsters.
Boca de Yuma do not have beaches in the village, Playa Blanca beach is accessible
by boat from the village.

Cueva Berna
