Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic with its 2.7 million inhabitants, is a festive and noisy city. The Colonial Zone which includes many hotels is the oldest part of the city, with monuments dating from the colonial era.
On the Malecon you will find some one of the most prestigious hotels of Santo Domingo.
The city has no beach, the closest are Boca Chica and Juan Dolio on the east and Playa Palenque and Playa Najayo westward.
In this capital is many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shopping malls, cultural centers and tourist attractions that make a city with many faces.
The city does not have an all-inclusive hotels.
