Description of Hotel Manzanillo
The Manzanillo Hotel is located in the center of the small port town of Pepillo Salcedo, in the far north-west of the Dominican Republic, right on the border with Haiti.
It is a fairly basic establishment with simple rooms with air conditioning, television and a bathroom with shower. Manzanillo Hotel is one of the few places to sleep in this small isolated town.
Pepillo Salcedo is located in the province of Monte Cristi, around 30 from the provincial capital. It is an agricultural town which mainly produces bananas, it is also a trading port for the export of bulk products and refrigerated containers of bananas.
It is not a tourist town despite pretty beaches (Playa Los Coquitos), mangroves and Monte Cristi national park.
